No, I’m really not. But neither am I know for being too terribly impatient. I’m a little frustrated because I finally finished editing the footage from my recent stay in New Orleans (see an earlier posting for reasons why I found this task difficult) and now that the video is all nice and compressed, and uploaded to its host site–twice, in fact, but the second time was an accident because I thought the first time around it was interrupted by the cat sitting on the keyboard–but for whatever reason it’s has not been assigned a link yet, and it’s been nearly 19 hours. My other two went up without a hitch immediately, but not this one, I have no idea why and it’s killing me. I just got home from work, it’s 9AM and I have to be back there tonight at 7 so I really need to get some sleep but now I’m obsessed with posting this video. So much for this blog/vlog thing being a healthy form of expression for me: it’s turned me into an obsessive lunatic a good deal sooner than I thought it would, and so damnned early in the morning, too!
I’m going to check one more time to see if it’s there, and if it’s not, I’m going to bed. I’ll be sad, and likely have anxiety dreams about my little video forever lost in the internet ether never to be seen again, but I need my Z’s.
Nope. Good night!

oh I know the feeling when you want something to ahppen and it doesn’t; even worse for me becuase I am an impatient person. Do’t worry, it will work out and we’ll all be here to see it whenever it does. Take care,

Ah, are you using Safari when you upload your video? That’s probably why it’s lost. I’ve used Safari when uploading pics and videos to ourmedia and ourmedia “claims” that the video is going to be uploaded, but it really isn’t. They just can’t uplaod it using Safari sometimes.
My solution? Use another browser. If Internet Explorer is in your Mac, open that up and go to Ourmedia.org. You can also go to http://www.mozilla.org/products/mozilla1.x/ and download Mozilla as your browser (look at the green box to the right of the window). AND it’s free. I find that this one works best with ourmedia.
Hope this helps!!!

One last trick up my sleve … if all else fails, use this …
http://www.ourmedia.org/tools
And download our media publisher. This little app helps you upload videos to Ourmedia with ease, especially if your file is big.
If you have any questions about it, please let me know.

unfortunately I haven’t been able to watch any of the video u posted up.The links seem to be dead or somethin.
Posting up video is one of THE MOST annoying things I have come across. I have dial-up so i have to run a program that resumes the upload when i re-connect.
Can’t wait to see the Halloween video! ahhhhhhhh

M & D,
I’m bummed you can’t see it, but I’m positive it’s because these files are mammoth and their getting cloggy in your dial-up.
And yes, I have yet to have a video uploading experience that I would file in the “fun!” category. Mostly I’ve been aggravated with it. But I’m getting the hang of it, and it’s a little less frustrating every time. Except this last one…my head almost popped off.
